Location Overview

Merribrook Retreat is in the centre of the Margaret Riverr Wine Region.

The Margaret River Wine Region tucked in the south west corner of Western Australia is one of the most beautiful regions of our State with a rugged coastline and sparkling white beaches, majestic forests and numerous wineries, galleries and restaurants.

Merribrook Retreat is located on Armstrong  Road off Cowaramup Bay Road; only four kilometres from the Indian Ocean and centre stage to many Margaret River wineries. eg Vasse Felix, Cape Grace, Cullens, Moss Wood, Peace Tree.

The climate is described as Mediterranean with warm dry Summers  and  cool wet Winter days ideal for snuggling  by the fire.

Merribrook Retreat is only a  3 to 3 .5 hour drive or a one hour flight from Perth, and  is privately nestled in the centre of the Margaret River Wine Region near the towns of Margaret River, Cowaramup, Yallingup,  Dunsborough, Busselton and Augusta.

Busselton and Margaret River have regional airports. A car is essential for touring, however excellent tour companies will pick you up from Merribrook for wine tours. A good taxi service will transport you to local restaurants.

A magical place, the perfect place to get away from everything.
Near wineries, great beaches, caves and for the girls, the local shops are great, I  loved Payet gallery, Lorraine had all fab local places to go see in a folder in our room. Will definitely return to this little bit of heaven

Directions from Perth to Merribrook Retreat, 114 Armstrong Road, Cowaramup near Margaret River.

If using Google map, enter Armstrong Road, Gracetown or Cowaramup.

Follow your map and leave Perth on the Kwinana or Roe Freways then take the new Forrest Freeway to Bunbury.

Drive south to Busselton.

Just 10kms north of Margaret River and in the heart of the wine region is the small town of Cowaramup .Just south of Cowaramup turn right on Cowaramup Bay Road. Travel along this road for 6.4 kms then turn left down Armstrong Road.

We are only 2 kms down this enchanting winding road.
